Why choose to buy or sell at A-1 Restaurant Trader’s auctions?
A-1's auctioneer, Michael C. Purcell, has 12 years experience as an auctioneer, and over 35 years experience in the food/restaurant industry. Come to one of A-1's auctions and see what they are like. I believe you will like what you see. They have a long list of satisfied clients, both corporate and private, including banks and the state.

Who can participate in the auctions?
Everyone can! Simply register for the auction and make a $200.00 refundable cash deposit.

How and when are auctioned items paid for?
They are paid for by credit card, cash, or bank check. Payment is made at or before the end of the auction.

Are auctioned items guaranteed?
While descriptions are believed to be correct, the auctioneer or owners make no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied as to the genuineness, authenticity or defect in any lot and will not be held responsible for advertising discrepancies or inaccuracies. Everything is sold "as is" and "where is."

How do you know the condition of items being auctioned?
The bidder for any item at any auction should be knowledgeable about the items he/she is bidding on. Come to auctions early and inspect things you wish to bid on.

How are auctioned items sold?
By lot number, and quantity. It is important to listen to auctioneers description of items about to be auctioned. Sometimes a whole lot may be sold all together, and at other times you may be able to bid on part of a lot. When in doubt don't hesitate to ask the auctioneer.
